SOME EASY-TO-TIE FISH IMITATING FRY PATTERNS!
THE GATSO FLY (AND SOME VARIANTS)!
If you scroll through the picture gallery above you will see how easy it is to make good little fish-imitating patterns that are a joy to use, and really effective at catching pike too! They are so light to cast, they can be slung on an eight or nine weight quite readily. They would be brilliant for bass and other predators in the sea, likewise for perch, chub and zander on our inland waters. Try some and see, they cost pennies to make if you do it yourself. Our new Gatso Fibre is the key to tying them up, anything from a couple of turns to a full body-hackle wound the length of the hook. You can incorporate other materials to form tails etc. or you can just use Gatso Fibre for a collar hackle around the front of a standard fly. I reckon it would be great for big bushy dry flies meant for chub in the summer, I'll have to try it one day.
