Since introducing Piketrek customers to our bright red intermediate lines we have been amazed at how popular they have become. However we are fully aware that some anglers continue to scoff and swear that they might "frighten" pike off.

I have to admit that even I was sceptical at first, but the proof (as they say) is in the pudding and results speak for themselves. Nevertheless, to satisfy the "doubters" we have had exactly the same line made in this "shitty" brown colour which should please those who like to think that trying to hide your fly line is nessecary at all times. I'm certainly not going to argue about this point, it's a route that I have followed myself for many years.

Whatever, anyone who tries one of these will want one at this price, be daft not to. Fantastic quality lines with a slow, even sink-rate of about 1 1/2" per second, that's 3 - 4 cms. per second for the decimally-minded! Super-smooth and supple in the hand with short (five foot) tapers front and rear and a 30 foot head which make for effortless casting. Total length 100 feet on a braided inner core, these lines perform excellently in any temperature with no memory STRAIGHT FROM THE PACKET!

From the same maker who manufactures our other lines, these are a step-up from our old bargain lines (you will notice the difference!) both in terms of quality and fishability, with only a slight rise in cost.
