WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE NOW AGENTS FOR THE BEST TRACE WIRE IN THE WORLD!

The IRON CLAW from SANGER

AUTHANIC WIRE is so easy to use and so long lasting, no more kinked-up traces! Simply pull straight and off you go again!

13.6 Kilo breaking strain....man enough for anyone!

This product has been around for a while now but has been really difficult to get hold of, especially in the right breaking strains. That's a thing of the past now that we have become agents for sales, AND WITH A PRICE REDUCTION TOO!

It has a reputation for being expensive but think about it for a while......when you consider that one 12" length will catch you plenty of pike before it gets tatty then things are a little different. With five metres on each spool you get 16 traces from every pack for a tenner, now that's really good when you consider that kinks are a thing of the past. And you have the added security of wire instead of thick nylon!

It is so easy to use and there are several advantages over normal wires, the best of which (in my opinion at least!) is that knots are as easy to tie as they are in 12lb nylon. For fly fishing it simply doesn't get any better than this, it is simply superb gear. Even Grinner knots and Blood knots are simple to tie with it, and the twiddling stick method produces superb results too.

All problems associated with the use of wire traces in fly fishing are totally alleviated by the use of AUTHANIC wire, and to me that's worth it's weight in gold.....I couldn't care less how expensive it seems to be. At about 65/70 pence a trace it will last all day usually, that's cheaper than the popular brands of carp fishing braids! And you don't hear those boys complaining do you?

13.6 kilo breaking strain (manufacturer's claim...untested by me as yet) that's just under 30lbs in old money.

Superb for a slightly more delicate presentation whilst still having plenty of spare strength. It's always a wise idea to have a trace that breaks at slightly under the breaking strain of your fly line otherwise things can get expensive!

You will need about 14" of Authanic Wire to make a trace of twelve inches in length once the fly is tied on, this is the minimum required length as recommended by the PFFA. Or do what I do.....start with about 18" so you can change your flies a few times before having to replace it once it becomes too short to use.

I am now using this wire fixed loop-to-loop to my 30lb breaking strain nylon leader for ultimate suppleness and subtlety. I tie my fly on with a slip-knot which is unmoveable and keeps waste down to an absolute minimum each time you change your fly. Don't know what I'd do without it!!!!
