Remember all those old copper spoons that we used to use all those years ago? Are you even that old? Copper was always a great choice of lure colour back in the old days of lure fishing, what's to suggest it's not the same nowadays? I find that this is a terrific material to use, especially at dusk when the copper colour catches the last rays of the sun as it sinks below the horizon. Think of all the red and orange hues of the dying sun being picked up and reflected by your fly.....Hmmmm.....!

 Use sparingly as a little goes a long way, providing lots of attraction and bulk to the body of the fly. Mixes well with other fibres, especially the aforementioned reds and oranges and yellows.

Very strong and resistant to the rigours of pike's teeth!
